Manikishore Illapu is a seasoned academic and creative professional currently serving as the Head of the Department of Visual Arts. He holds a B.Tech degree along with a Diploma in Filmmaking, combining technical expertise with artistic vision. With over seven years of teaching experience at institutions like Image Creative Education, Arena Animation, and Koshys College, he has been instrumental in nurturing creative talent and academic excellence.

In addition to his academic contributions, Manikishore brings two years of industry experience as a VFX artist, having worked on high-profile films including Baahubali, Robo 2.0, Marcel, Kannam, and several Korean productions. Since 2023, he has been the CEO of Kitoonz Studios, where he oversees international animation projects and continues to drive creative innovation.

His areas of interest include filmmaking, story writing, and artificial intelligence—fields in which he constantly explores new possibilities to enrich both education and industry practices.
