Currently serves as the Director of Academics at Nitte Education Trust since 2023, where they oversee the development and implementation of academic programs and initiatives. Prior to this role, served as the Vice Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University in Bhopal from January 2021 to June 2023, where they played a pivotal role in shaping the university's academic agenda and fostering innovation. Before his tenure at Jagran Lakecity University, held notable positions including Pro Vice Chancellor at JAIN University in Bangalore and Director of the Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Languages (CERSSE) at JAIN from January 2009 to December 2020. During this time,he spearheaded research endeavours and promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing the institution's academic reputation.
Prior to their roles at JAIN University, Dr. Sandeep Shastri served as the Director of the International Academy for Creative Teaching from 2006 to 2009 and as the Dean of Research and Social Sciences at the International Academy of Creative Teaching from 2002 to 2006. These experiences underscore his commitment to fostering innovative teaching methodologies and advancing scholarly pursuits.
He has to his credit 10 Books, more than 40 articles in Edited Books & over 60 articles in refereed Research Journals, besides more than 200 articles in Op Ed pages of newspapers.

He has been an International Consultant associated with the Forum of Federations for its Federal Democracy Capacity Building Programme in the Sudan, South Sudan and Myanmar. He is on the Executive Committee of two important Research Committees of the International Political Science Association connected to the study of Electoral Systems and Governance. Dr Shastri played a key role in drafting the Karnataka Youth Policy by serving as the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Policy. Dr Shastri has lectured extensively across the world and spoken at universities in more than 30 countries in all the six inhabited continents.

With over three decades of experience in the IT industry, Dr. Shekar brings a wealth of expertise in managing client interactions at both strategic and operational levels, particularly within organizations specializing in packaged product development. In the latter stages of his professional journey, he pursued his PhD. focusing on the future landscape of managerial work.
