Library

At Koshys Institute of Management Studies, the library is the heart of the institute. It supports and enhances the learning, teaching, research, and service activities to students by providing organized access to quality information. Trained staff are available to assist students for various aspects of academics.

Koshys Institute of Management Studies has 2 libraries - Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Library. The libraries can accommodate more than 250 students and students have access to internet and Wi-Fi service while using the library. The library subscribes to electronic resources from J GATE, DELNET and other institutions for its students and faculties.

Our Libraries currently have over 8003 cumulative collection of books, journals, periodicals, conference proceedings, project reports, institutional repositories, electronic resources like e- books, e- journals, CD ROMS, standards and cases.

Objective

The primary objective of the library is to offer a fully integrated and dynamic environment suited for academic pursuits, study and research for the students and staff, by augmenting traditional print and electronic resources both local and global technologies.

Digital Library

NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), a joint initiative by 7 IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and IISc. (Indian Institute of Science). They create course contents in engineering, sciences, management and other related disciplines. The course contents are helpful for teacher training and to improve the quality of students. The contents are loaded on the library server and intranet access is provided to all users.

NDL (National Digital Library): It is a virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. It provides support for all disciplines and academic levels, including; researchers and life-long learners, and to differently-abled learners. At KGI, faculties and students are provided with access to National Digital Library.
