Dr. Sara Kunnath is a dynamic academician, policy advisor, and sustainability leader with over 20 years of entrepreneurial and senior management experience, along with 11 years in teaching and research. As the current Dean of Management Studies at Koshys Institute of Management Studies, she brings a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world expertise in strategic management, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and human resource management.

Her distinguished career includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Science and a tenure as Deputy Director at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Energy and Development under the Government of Karnataka. Dr. Kunnath has successfully led national and international conferences in collaboration with organizations such as MNRE, USAID, and MoEF&CC. She also serves as a resource person for both MNRE and MoEF&CC and is a scientific committee member for the Lake Symposium organized by IISc Bangalore.

With two patents to her credit—focused on AI-driven mental health detection and climate change mitigation—Dr. Kunnath is a pioneering researcher and innovator. Her contributions to energy accounting, academic publishing, and global discourse make her a highly respected voice in both academic and policy-making circles. She continues to serve as an active speaker, jury member, editor, and advisor at prestigious institutions and international platforms.
