Prof. Maria M. is the Head of the Department of Commerce with over 13 years of teaching experience, specializing in Accounting and Statistics. A passionate and student-centered educator, she is known for creating a balanced and engaging learning environment while maintaining a systematic and disciplined approach to academic planning and execution.

Her academic leadership includes the introduction of B.Com with ACCA professional integration and the launch of Advanced Excel Certification Courses. She has also played a key role in organizing numerous academic and non-academic initiatives such as awareness programs, conferences, guest lectures, national webinars, and workshops. She has served as a member of the Board of Studies and the External Board of Examiners, as well as actively participating in external paper setting, evaluation, and scrutiny.

Prof. Maria has made significant contributions to institutional development through her involvement in the NAAC committee, helping to raise educational standards. As a researcher, she has published papers in reputed international journals, including UGC Care List and Scopus-indexed publications. She is also an accomplished author, having written textbooks such as Business Statistics and Logic (I Semester BBA-SEP), and Business Dynamics and Market (II Semester BBA-SEP).
